Keystone Helicopter Installs Alto Aviation
Audio System
in the Third VIP Sikorsky S-92 Completion
Leominster, MA – January 15, 2007 – Keystone Helicopter Holdings, LLC. a wholly owned subsidiary of Sikorsky recently completed the installation of an Alto Aviation Executive Audio System in the third production VIP S-92. The Executive System consists of four custom mid/high speaker enclosures and two subwoofers. A 240 watt EQ’d amplifier drives the system which weighs just under 13.5 lbs.
The cabin of the S-92 was acoustically mapped by Alto engineers and the amplifier’s EQ was set to produce a sound that rivals even the best home entertainment systems. Proprietary software and acoustic processes developed by Alto enabled the actual “audio footprint” of the S-92 to be recorded. Alto then engineered the EQ board and located proper speaker placement for optimum performance.
“It was an easy installation, and the support from Alto was tremendous”, remarked Daryl Goldsborough, Keystone Engineering.
