Executive Installation on First Citation-X

Grand Junction, CO (GJT) – June 29, 2006 – West Star Aviation recently completed the installation of an Executive version of the Alto Aviation Entertainment System (AES) in a Citation-X during a complete interior re-furb. The AES premium audio system utilizes four custom mid/high speaker enclosures, two subwoofers, and a high power audio amplifier with custom equalization. “Our customer commented that this system sounded tremendous, whether on the ground or at 42,000 ft.”, explains Avionics Sales Representative Sean Schafer, “it is a significant achievement to obtain this level of audio quality in an aircraft cabin”.

Using acoustic modeling with proprietary software, Alto’s engineers have ensured that the cabin passengers will hear the music as the original artist intended. The system design was customized for optimum performance in the C-750 cabin resulting in a high performance, realistic audio reproduction for both music and movies and helps to reduce listener fatigue in the aircraft cabin. Alto has designed the system so that size and weight have been minimized while still producing unrivaled sound quality in the industry. The entire audio system, including the amplifier and all speakers, weighs less than 13.5 lbs. “Small lightweight components, intuitive product manuals and hands on Alto support made the installation a breeze”, remarked Jim Pommier, West Star Avionics Sales Representative.
